With the support of many who shared the vision to reach out to the Jewish and the wider International community in St. Louis, The House of Living Water found it's proper location, "Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain." (Psalm 127:1). Expressed in action, The House of Living Water is a gathering place for study, conversation, dance, instruction and learning who we are within our cultural backgrounds. The place of prayer. The place of learning and teaching Jewish people and Christians the roots of their faith. The place to learn Israeli dances. The place to learn the Hebrew Language or languages. The place of fellowship and round table discussions. The place to view videos or to listen to audio tapes by good teachers. The place to rest and relax and receive a cool drink of water from the Spring of Living Water. The place to receive a book or tape freely given. The place to present Jesus as the Messiah of the whole world. The place where the Chosen people will come to know Yeshua (Jesus) as their Messiah, "The Spring of Living Water" (Jeremiah 17:13). Decidedly, The House of Living Water expresses the mandate to, "Love your neighbor as you love yourself." (Leviticus 19:18 & Matthew 22:39). It is what challenges us to reach out to the community to share the love freely given that has brought life into our lives. Scripture reference for the Logos:"I tell you the truth, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to Christ will certainly not lose his reward" (Mark 9:41) "And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones, he will certainly not lose his reward." (Matthew 10:42) "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.' For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, "He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'" (Matthew 25:40,42-43,45) Statement of PurposeOur intention is that everyone who enters the doors of The House of Living Water will receive a cup filled with purified water to refresh them. Excerpt from "Living Water" by Gwen Reeser (ETH): Living water is life giving, living water is so free. We thank you for the living water, we thank you for the flow of Your love. We thank you for the living water, filled with goodness, grace and mercy from above. Living water is a spring that bubbles up, bubbles up and overflows your cup. Living water is a fountain of life, a cup of water will wash away strife. I have been so dry, Lord, hear my cry. Living water's what I need, quench my thirst, O Lord, I plead. My tongue is dry, give me water lest I die. Open my eyes that I may see, your bountiful supply of water for me. Amen You are invited NOW to be a part of "The House of Living Water." Everyone can be a part of The House of Living Water, in one way or another. The place to receive a book freely given. Make a search of the shelves in your house for any good teaching books? Give them to The House of Living Water to be freely given to those who enter in. The House of Living Water is supported solely by free will offerings, not by selling any product.
